Wireless communications and AI-native networking — toward trustworthy, communication-efficient distributed intelligence.

👋 I am a Ph.D. student at the School of Information and Communication Engineering, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), advised by Prof. Changchuan Yin. My research lies at the intersection of wireless communications and AI-native networking.

🌏 I am currently a joint-training (visiting) Ph.D. student at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), working with Prof. Tony Q. S. Quek.

🔬 My recent work spans federated learning, semantic communications, digital twin–enabled networks, and cloud–edge–device collaboration, with first-author papers at IEEE GLOBECOM and ICC, and journal work in IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing and IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications. I focus on making large-scale distributed intelligence trustworthy, communication-efficient, and deployable under real wireless, privacy, and resource constraints.

🏅 I was recognized as an IEEE Wireless Communications Letters Exemplary Reviewer for two consecutive years (2024 & 2025), and ranked 13/685 in my master's program at BUPT.

Research Experience

  1. Split-Based Federated LLM Fine-Tuning Optimization in Wireless Networks

    2026 – 2027

    State-sponsored joint-PhD training project · Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD, Prof. Tony Q. S. Quek) · funded by the China Scholarship Council (CSC, ~150k RMB)

    Self-proposed and self-led CSC-funded research project: efficient fine-tuning of large language models for privacy-sensitive, resource-constrained wireless devices by combining split learning with federated learning, reducing on-device computation and transmission cost under communication and compute constraints.

  2. AI-Driven Network Fault Self-Healing (Anomaly Detection, Root-Cause Localization & Correction)

    Apr 2026 – Dec 2026

    BUPT–China Telecom university-enterprise joint project

    Algorithm engineering validation of a spatio-temporal-graph- and LLM-agent-based fault self-healing pipeline; using key real-world datasets from China Telecom, validated the detection–localization–correction methods, with root-cause Top-1 accuracy up to +19.1 pp and ~51% lower end-to-end diagnosis latency versus baselines.

  3. AI + 5G Private-Network Intelligent Solution Platform

    Dec 2024 – Apr 2025

    BUPT–China Mobile university-enterprise joint project

    An LLM-driven platform that automatically generates customized solutions for campus private networks, substantially reducing pre-sales communication and solution-design cost. Recognized with an AI-track competition award (see Honors).
